Blind Testers

Hi fellow CDGers. I need to get in some blind play testing of a few of my new games. If anyone would be interested in taking any of following games from me at the March 2 or 10 meetings that would be great. I only ask that you play the game at least two times minimum before returning it to me. I will have a brief 1 page questionnaire included for your input. I need to know if I am getting the setup, the rules and the concept of the game across in my rule book. Let me know in advance if you are interested so I can make sure everything is prepared.

The games involved are:
Manoeuvre: Distant Lands Expansion
Fury (Fantasy Warfare)
Title Chase Basketball
20th Century Limited (Light Rail Game)

Game Board Artwork & Resources

I’ve been working on the artwork for Time’s End for quite a while and I think I’m close to finalizing it. I wanted to share a few resources that I found extremely helpful and also show the progress that I’ve made since joining CDG. All the play-testing and critiquing have really been helpful in moving this game forward.

Helpful Resources

Lost Garden
Good starting point. The free tileset graphics are lowres because they were designed for video game use, but still a great resource.

Dundjinni
Great software and forum although it’s no longer really being supported. Exporting the finished image can be tricky and if your self-publishing, all of the artwork is copyrighted.

Creative Gremlins – Kepli
I actually noticed Kepli’s art through the Dundjinni forum and reached out to him about using some of his artwork. He’s been extremely helpful to me and his designs are fantastic.

CG Textures
I can’t say enough about this site. Thousands of textures and images free to download, very friendly licensing and even tutorials on how to use them! Definitely my new favorite resource.
